Standard Work Hours:
  • 1st shift M-Th 5am-3pm
Compensation:
  • Hourly Rate
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 upon successful hiring
  • Shift Differential: $3.25 an hour (If applicable)

Responsibilities:
  • Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for machine and equipment control.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
  • Have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs.
  • Perform the work of lower-class identifications and potentially direct their work.
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures.
  • Install and monitor performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services, including panels, breakers, and conduit.
  • Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits according to diagrams.
  • Perform repairs, installs, replacements, and testing of electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and instruments.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Group Leader.
Qualifications:
  • Two-year Associate degree and 5+ years of work experience required.
  • Proficiency in using a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
Work Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods, sit, perform manual dexterity, stoop, and bend.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical, including a baseline test of lifting at least 50 pounds.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Must Have:
  • Two-year Associate degree and 5+ years of work experience.
  • Experience designing minor electrical circuits and troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits.

  • Ability to read schematics or blueprints for installing electrical controls.
  • Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
  • Basic mechanical repair skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions.
