Standard Work Hours:
  • Weekend Nights Friday-Sunday 4pm – 4am
Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring
  • Shift Differential: $6.50/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
  • Have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs.
  • Perform the work of lower-class identifications.
  • May direct the work of others in lower classifications.
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
  • Install and monitor the performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
  • Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
  • Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services including panels, breakers, and conduit.
  • Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
  • Perform repairs, installs, replacements, and testing of electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
  • Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
Qualifications:
  • Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years’ work experience required.
  • Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

  • Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
