Job summary

A leading specialist equipment manufacturer is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to assist with the build and assembly of custom equipment. You will work in a skilled team, ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have mechanical assembly experience and strong electrical wiring skills. A full driving license is required, and forklift experience is desirable.

Overview

Electro-Mechanical Technician

Due to additional customer demand, a great opportunity is now available for an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join a specialist equipment manufacturer, to assist with the build and assembly of equipment, purpose built to customer specification.

You will be part of a small but skilled team, who focus on product quality and quality of service to their customers.

The Company has an experienced team covering the UK and customers throughout the UK, Europe and Africa.

Duties

• The wiring of systems, working from electrical drawings.
• The mechanical build and assemble of components and final systems assembly.
• The fabrication and build of pipework, pumps and control systems.
• The use of ABS Solvent & PVC gluing and the testing of systems.

Skills & Experience

• Previous mechanical build and equipment assembly experience
• Electrical wiring and soldering skills
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Ability to use power tools for assembly tasks
• Experience in the use of hand tools
• Good practical assembly and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• A full Driving Licence is required
• Previous Forklift experience desirable
