My client is recognised as one of the UK’s most successful, family owned, Electro-Mechanical service providers both in the repair and maintenance industry for Pumps, Motors, Alternators, Fans and Gearboxes and their associated controls. We are seeking skilled Electro Mechanical Fitters to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work on your own or as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  1. Assemble components and machinery according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  2. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  3. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  4. Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise during the assembly process.
  5. Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
  6. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  7. Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
  1. Previous and proven electro-mechanical knowledge with experience in a similar role.
  2. Time served or at least 5 years in industry.
  3. Full UK Driving Licence.
