Qualifications

• Mechanical Fitting/Assembly/Electrical Fitting or Panel Building/Wiring experience is essential.
• Completed Time-Served Apprenticeship is preferred.
• HNC/ONC/Level 3 qualified is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assembling a variety of machines from start to finish.
• Working from engineering drawings and using hand/power tools.
• Carrying out both mechanical and electrical fault finding.

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a MechanicalFitter to work in their modern & leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Mechanical Fitter our client is offering:

• Permanent role paying up to £32,000 per annum - Depending on experience
• Days position 8:30 - 5:15pm with an earlier finish on Fridays of 4:15pm - 39 hours per week
• Favourable working environment working on a variety of projects

The Role - Mechanical Fitter:

• Assembling a variety of Machines from start to finish
• Working from engineering drawings
• Use of hand/power tools to assemble products
• Working within a team to build equipment
• Use of machinery within the workshop
• Working with Control Panels/Wiring of products
• Carrying out both Mechanical & Electrical fault finding

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Fitter;

• Mechanical Fitting/Assembly/Electrical Fitting or Panel Building/Wiring experience - ESSENTIAL
• Someone who has completed a Time-Served Apprenticeship - PREFERRED
• HNC/ONC/Level 3 qualified to a minimum in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - ESSENTIAL
• Someone mechanically minded, good with hand and power tools
