rhames Ltd are one of the UK's leading electro mechanical specialist within industries which require separation technology, manufacturing and associated new equipment. rhames operates from its centrally based headquarters in Nottingham and various other locations throughout the UK to provide our clients with turn-key design, project management & manufacturing/ maintenance services. Due to continual expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Electro Mechanical Engineer, based out of our premises in Nottingham and travelling to sites throughout the UK

Main purpose:To aid in mechanical assembly together with the designing, testing and manufacturing of electronically controlled mechanical systems

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Your role may include, but will not be limited to:

• Perform & Complete installation activities as instructed
• Design and develop products and systems
• Prepare guidelines and procedures to develop company products as per specifications and schedules using safest and cost-effective processes.
• Direct and coordinate installation of fabrication activities to ensure systems and products comply with electro-mechanical engineering design along with customer specifications.
• Review & approve electro-mechanical engineering designs before manufacture to ensure design review conformance & repetitive errors elimination are carried out.
• Provide technical assistance
• Estimate engineering time
• Perform calculations, qualify, analyse and test units.
• Interact with customers, suppliers and other outside representatives on specific matters as & when required
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Work with others and contribute to effective working relationships
• Resolve problems in a timely manner
