The Smart Grid Solutions team is looking for an experienced electro-mechanical engineer to help develop new technologies for the changing power grid. This team is responsible for the smart metering, EV charging equipment and power grid control systems applications. Numerous global challenges such as climate change, vehicle electrification and distributed renewable generation are putting immense pressure on existing power infrastructure. The Smart Grid Solutions team has been leading the development of technologies and solutions to help solve these problems.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic electro-mechanical engineer who can help develop new system level solutions for the energy market. This includes energy meters and power grid monitoring products. As a member of the applications team, you will play a key role in developing and commercializing new technologies. You will be involved throughout the product development lifecycle from early R&D, proof-of-concept development, product definition, development, and system testing.
As Analog Devices moves from being an IC provider to a complete solution provider, we frequently require mechanical designs. This includes end-products featuring complex, custom plastics. Many of our IC products require demonstration platforms that mimic the end application with bespoke cases and mechanical assemblies. Our product development often includes physics simulations requiring accurate 3D models of the products.
