Job summary

TDA Group is seeking an Assembly Technician in Ware to join the electro-mechanical manufacturing team. The role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components, following drawings, and performing testing and fault finding.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience, be comfortable using hand and power tools, and maintain high workmanship standards. Monday–Friday with standard hours and an early finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in assembly
• Experience assembling mechanical and electrical components
• Familiar with servo motors and PCB sub-assemblies
• Ability to follow technical drawings and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components and products in line with technical drawings and specifications.
• Build and assemble servo motors and PCB sub-assemblies.
• Test and inspect completed assemblies to ensure correct operation and quality standards.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly faults.
• Replace defective components and carry out repairs where necessary.
• Use hand tools, power tools and equipment, including T-bars, Allen keys and screwdrivers.
• Carry out basic maintenance on machinery and assembly equipment.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Ensure all products meet required quality and safety standards.
