Job summary

Mane Energy is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly specialist to build mechanical sub-assemblies and perform precise wiring and soldering tasks. The role involves reading wiring diagrams, diagnosing faults in power supply equipment, and using a range of tools with a strong focus on quality and safety on the shop floor.

You will work with a team on onsite production, following stringent workmanship standards and adhering to safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Carry out electro-mechanical assembly to required specifications.
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and assembly drawings accurately.
• Diagnose faults in electrical power supply equipment and repair them.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electro-mechanical assembly and build mechanical sub-assemblies to required specifications.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, cable crimping, looming and termination.
• Undertake soldering and wiring to a high standard.
• Read and accurately interpret electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.
• Locate, diagnose and repair faults in electrical power supply equipment.
• Correctly use, maintain and care for a range of hand tools, power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments.
• Confidently use hand tools including spanners, screwdrivers and ratchet sets, as well as electric power tools.
• Use a variety of crimping tools correctly and safely.
• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality, safety and workmanship standards.
