Job summary

Matchtech is seeking Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a defence-focused client in Hampshire. The role involves assembling electro-mechanical products, box builds, cable routing, PCB installations, and final mechanical assembly to strict quality standards.

You will perform soldering to recognised standards and maintain clean, ESD-compliant work areas in a high-rel manufacturing environment. Immediate starts available on long-term contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Experience in conventional soldering.
• Strong mechanical assembly skills using hand tools.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, rail, medical or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical products and electronic enclosures from work instructions.
• Carry out box build, cable routing, and final mechanical assembly.
• Install PCBs, connectors, and associated hardware into finished assemblies.
• Perform soldering to recognised industry standards.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality procedures and manufacturing documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and ESD-compliant working environment.
