Qualifications

Knowledge of PCB assembly and related processes.
Experience in hand soldering, crimping and general assembly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Attention to detail in quality critical work.
Willingness to learn and develop skills on the job.
Good teamwork and collaboration within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble product components from PCB level through sub-assembly to finished units following drawings.
Build to wiring schedules and use meters to check assembled work.
Adhere to Quality System procedures and ERP time guidelines.
Follow Manufacturing Department procedures and maintain records.
Utilise IT resources (Intranet, ERP) for day-to-day tasks.

The Role of Electromechanical Assembler:

To assemble the constituent parts of the products from PCB level through sub assembly to finished units, following Company engineering drawings.
To understand and build to wiring schedules, using appropriate meters, where required, to check assembled work.
To ensure all activities are completed in accordance with current Quality System procedures and standards and, wherever possible, within recommended times specified on the Company ERP system.
To understand and follow all Manufacturing Department administrative procedures and maintain records via the systems provided.
To understand and use Company IT resources, ie Intranet, ERP system in support of day-to-day activities such as part enquiries, stock search, etc.
