Job summary

Outsource UK Ltd in Peterborough is seeking an Automotive Technician for a 12-month, fully site-based assignment. You will work on electrification, powertrain, diesel and hybrid systems, supporting APSD engineers and conducting build/strip and measurement activities with service tools.

The role requires a completed Modern Apprenticeship or BTEC in mechanical or electrical discipline, hands-on diagnostics and fault-finding experience, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Completed Modern Apprenticeship or BTEC in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Hands-on experience in diagnostics and fault finding.
• Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support APSD engineers' instructions with feedback and updates.
• Order and obtain parts with logistics to meet specifications.
• Conduct build/strip and measurement activities on electrification, powertrain, diesel and hybrid components.
• Perform electrical safety checks and measurements (insulation resistance, grounding, Hi-Pot).
