Job summary

Consilium Contracting Services is recruiting 1–2 Reactive Repair Electricians for a mobile role across Stirlingshire & Clackmannanshire, delivering electrical repairs in social housing and private homes.

We require 18th Edition qualification and strong EICR experience, plus the ability to perform domestic repairs and fault finding under KPI-driven targets. A company vehicle is provided for the mobile role.

Qualifications

• Must hold 18th Edition qualification and be fully competent in electrical certifications.
• Experience with EICRs and domestic repairs is required.
• Social Housing experience is highly desirable.
• Willing to work occasional out-of-hours and support on-call rota.

Due to growth throughout Stirlingshire & Clackmannanshire regions, Consilium Contracting Services is looking to recruit 1 or 2 experienced Reactive Repair Electricians to join their team.

Consilium Contracting Services is a fast-paced, 24/7 multi-trade contracting firm operating primarily in the public sector, serving Housing Associations and Councils with a multi-trade approach. The focus is on Social Housing maintenance and repairs, as well as private domestic homes.

With over 2,500 jobs completed each month and more than 1,000 Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) delivered monthly, they pride themselves on high performance and efficiency.

This is a mobile role operating throughout Stirlingshire & Clackmannanshire. Ideally, candidates will have experience in Social Housing and be fully capable of performing EICRs and general electrical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) - Must be 18th Edition qualified and fully competent in all electrical certifications
• Perform domestic remedial work and general electrical alterations within homes
• Fault finding and conducting electrical reactive repairs, adhering to stringent KPIs set by Social Housing clients
• Handling a variety of repair and installation jobs as needed

Additional Requirements

• Occasional out-of-hours work or overtime may be required to ensure no customer is left without essential services
• Participation in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 4)
• Candidates must be prepared to work a full 8-hour day, adhering to scheduled start and finish times. Monitoring will be in place to ensure fairness — “a fair day's pay for a fair day's work”
• Care and responsibility must be taken for the company-provided vehicle and equipment
