4Site Recruitment Ltd. in London seeks an experienced Working Electrical Foreman to oversee a live re-roofing project and a team of electrical specialists. You will report to the Project Manager and work closely with on-site management to keep works on programme.

This 50/50 hands-on and supervisory role requires leading up to 8 electricians, coordinating electrical works across commercial fit-outs, offices, and data centres in Central London, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman, Working Foreman or Senior Electrician.
• Strong site health and safety knowledge.
• Ability to work both on tools and in supervisory capacity.
• Experience supervising up to 8 electricians/tradesmen.
• Experience on data centres and commercial fit-outs is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and lead teams of up to 8 electricians/tradesmen.

• Carry out testing and inspection and sign off completed works.
• Conduct Safe Starts, inductions and toolbox talks.

Electrical Working Foreman

4Site are looking for a working foreman to oversee a re-roofing project in a live environment in Cambridge. Reporting into the Project team, you will manage 4-6 engineers, and liaise closely with the on-site management. You will ensure works are delivered in line with programme, and step in hands-on where required.

Working Electrical Foreman

Location: Central London
Office: Moorgate
Salary:£50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: 8-9 hours per day, depending on project

We are currently looking for an experienced Working Electrical Foreman to join a growing team working across a range of commercial projects throughout Central London.

This is a 50/50 hands-on and management role, ideal for an experienced electrician who is ready to take the next step into a Foreman position while remaining actively involved with the electrical works on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading teams of up to 8 electricians/tradesmen, depending on project size.
• Remaining hands-on with electrical installation works alongside the team.
• Carrying out testing and inspection duties, including signing off completed works.
• Conducting Safe Starts, site inductions and toolbox talks where required.
• Completing daily site diaries and relevant site paperwork.
• Ordering and managing materials.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Liaising with Project Managers and Site Managers.
• Reporting directly to the Project Manager on smaller projects.
• Working under the Site Manager on larger projects and taking responsibility for the electrical team.
• Coordinating electrical works across commercial fit-out, office and data centre projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman, Working Foreman or Senior Electrician.
• ECS Gold or Black Card - essential.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
• Strong commercial electrical installation experience.
• Experience supervising and leading other electricians.
• Ability to work confidently both on the tools and in a supervisory capacity.
• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Data centre experience would be advantageous.

Desirable Qualifications

• First Aid.
• Authorised Person qualification - C&G 3-day course.
• The company is willing to provide Authorised Person training for the right candidate if they do not currently hold the qualification.
