Job summary

Valoris Group is seeking an experienced Electrician for a minimum 3-month contract with the potential to move to permanent status. Work includes remedial tasks, fault-finding on existing solar PV systems, and installing new PV systems in domestic and commercial settings.

You will perform testing to 18th Edition standards and collaborate with a team to meet project deadlines. The position requires a qualified Electrician with 18th Edition; solar PV experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition certification.
• Experience with solar PV installations and remedials preferred.
• Own tools and reliable transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out remedial works and fault-finding on existing solar PV systems or general electrical duties.
• Install and commission new solar PV systems in domestic and commercial settings.

Contract Type: Minimum 3-Month Contract (Temp-to-Perm Option Available)
Day Rate: £180-£250 per day (Depending on Experience)

We are working with a leading Solar PV company specialising in renewable energy solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced electricians to join the team on a contract basis, with the potential to move into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out remedial works and fault-finding on existing solar PV systems. (Or just general commercial duties if NO SOLAR experience)
• Install and commission new solar PV systems in domestic and commercial settings.
• Perform general electrical duties, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections in line with 18th Edition and 2391 requirements.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects within set deadlines.

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition certification.
• Experience with solar PV installations and remedials (preferred but not essential).
• Own tools and reliable transport (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
