Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited seeks Electricians for full-time, permanent work across the UK’s Water sector. You’ll join established teams delivering projects with competitive rates of £22.25 per hour and enhanced overtime.

Travel and accommodation are provided, plus a subsistence allowance and strong career development opportunities. Ideal candidates are fully qualified with BS7671 familiarity and UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with installation/repair experience.
• ECS Grading Card must be current.
• Knowledge of BS7671 standards and regulations.
• Water industry experience advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install cable containment systems to a high standard.
• Install, gland, terminate cable systems per BS7671 and drawings.
• Install electrical equipment per BS7671 and manufacturers' instructions.
• Test electrical systems and continuity with testing devices.
• Diagnose faults and locate causes using test equipment.
• Work at height adhering to safety procedures.
• Inspect systems for hazards and defects and ensure compliance.
• Advise management on hazardous operation of equipment.
• Plan layout and installation based on job specs and standards.
