Electrician - Testing & Inspection - Clear training to become 'Engineering Surveyor' with a career in high-level testing & inspection. Salary: £40k - £42k basic plus overtime, £4,250 car allowance / car, 12% pension, 25 days holiday, bonus, world-class training, for a 'UK Top employer'. Training up to Chartership through IET (2391 or 2394/5 essential).

We are seeking an electrical professional eager to train as an 'Engineering Surveyor' in Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC). These professionals ensure safety and compliance, making them essential in the industry.

What we're looking for: We value the right personality and a desire to advance within testing & inspection as an engineering surveyor. While prior experience in testing & inspection is preferred, it is not mandatory; we will invest heavily in your training. Candidates should be fully qualified electrical professionals (apprenticeship, Level 3, etc.), with qualifications like 2391 and 18th Edition being advantageous. An HNC or higher qualification is also beneficial. We aim to develop your skills further, including certifications like ATEX & COMPEX, with opportunities to achieve Chartered status in partnership with the IET.

The role itself: After training, you will test & inspect electrical equipment in various sectors such as manufacturing, quarries, power plants, marine, agriculture, and airports. The work is diverse, covering industrial, commercial, and heavy industrial sites. As you gain further training and experience, you'll handle more complex sites, providing ongoing development and salary growth opportunities.
