Job description

Electricians - Looking for More Stability and Less Hassle?

£43,000 - £55,000 (including salary, holiday pay benefits and Call out allowance)

No rushing from one emergency to the next.

No endless job chasing.

No uncertainty about what work is waiting for you tomorrow.

If you're a skilled Electrician who enjoys the trade but wants a role with less day-to-day stress, this could be a great opportunity.

We're partnering with a large Social Housing provider that has a slot for an Electrician to help maintain the compliance and upkeep of its housing portfolio with EICR testing

This is genuine hands‑on electrical work, including:

  • Maximum 2 EICR tests per day on Domestic properties ( no letterbox reporting)
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification if required
  • Electrical work within occupied properties

As you'll be working in residents' homes, delivering excellent customer service is just as important as your technical ability.

This is secure, long‑term employment rather than stop‑start contract work.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Clear expectations and priorities - Maximum 2 EICR's per day
  • Manageable workloads
  • A strong supportive and relaxed team
  • Support from experienced colleagues and management
  • Well‑managed systems, PPE, and compliance processes
  • work life balance back
  • £6-8K average per year - in call out allowance ( opportunities for more if you want it)
  • Weekend overtime ( only if you want it)
  • You’ll also receive a full induction, a company vehicle (fitted new Camper or LWB crafter)
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced sickness package
  • 10% pension + loads more benefits

The team also actively supports apprentices and takes pride in doing things the right way.

Nothing overcomplicated.

Just a professional organization that is well structured and well managed.

You’ll have:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent (City & Guilds 2365, 2357 etc.)
  • AM2
  • Inspection and Testing experience (2391, 2394 or 2395) essential
  • A strong understanding of BS7671
  • Experience within domestic properties or social housing
  • You’ll also need a full UK driving licence, basic IT skills, and the ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues.

If you take pride in your workmanship, value quality, and believe in doing jobs properly, you'll fit right in.

No pressure.

No hard sell.

If you're interested in hearing more, would like a better work life balance, feel relaxed and supported in work, feel free to have an informal conversation and decide whether it's the right move for you.
