Job description

Lead Electrician - Test & Inspect & Remedial Works

Midlands based with some UK travel

An established independent national FM provider are seeking a Electrician Test & Inspection to support the growth of their Electrical division, who's clients include retailers, care home groups, offices & commercial premises.

The Role

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a 2391 Test and Inspection Electrician. The role involves conducting electrical ppm work, maintenance, reactive repair, troubleshooting, small installation, and electrical engineering tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Based from home and paid door to door, you will work across our clients sites which includes retailers, nursing home groups, commercial properties, etc.

Knowledge of NICEIC certification is preferred but not required, onsite training can be given.

The successful candidate may be required to work across the country, but will be paid for all travel.

Qualifications

  • Electrical qualified with 18th edition.
  • Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting skills
  • Electrical Engineering knowledge
  • Experience in test and inspection of electrical installations with C&G 2391 Inspection and testing or equivalent (but must be able to show experience).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Relevant electrical certifications and qualifications
  • Full UK Driving License

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Basic salary & hourly rate negotiable on experience & skill set

  • Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
