Location: Makerfield Way Depot, Makerfield Way, Ince, Wigan, WN2 2PR
Hours: 37 hours per week

The Electrician is part of the Network Management and Highway Operations Service, responsible for maintaining the borough’s highway network. Responsibilities include maintenance of lighting columns, Christmas decorations, and other installations. You will also work flexibly on standby to attend emergency call-outs during and outside working hours within Wigan Borough.
You will supervise Street Lighting Operatives and build positive relationships with customers. Ensuring quality service delivery, meeting performance targets, and sharing ideas for system and process improvements are key aspects of your role.
