Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is hiring a qualified Electrician to train into solar, field-based across Plymouth and the South West. You will perform fault finding and maintenance on commercial solar sites, travelling from home with flexible hours.

Salary £38,000-£45,000 plus a van, a £2–3k bonus, and full training with progression into the O&M division. Occasional stays are supported with uplift; a great opportunity to develop a long-term solar career.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with CSCS card desirable.
• Willing to train into solar and progress in O&M.
• Willing to travel to sites across the South West.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding on commercial solar sites.
• Pre-planned maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Field-based role with home-based travel to sites and flexible hours.
• Travel time paid after 1 hour each way; occasional stays with 20% uplift.
