Job summary
Northern Tec Ltd is seeking an experienced electrician for a full-time, on-site role based in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. The position covers domestic and commercial electrical work, EV charging, Solar PV, and testing with opportunities across the North West.
Essential qualifications include City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (18th Edition) and 2391 Inspection & Testing, plus 3+ years of experience and a full UK driving licence. Travel and overnight stays may be required.
Qualifications
- Must have Level 3 Electrical Installation (City & Guilds 18th Edition).
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).
- 3+ years of practical electrical experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and ability to complete testing, certification and documentation accurately.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
Responsibilities
- Domestic and commercial electrical installations.
- Inspection, testing and certification of installations.
- Consumer unit and distribution board upgrades.
- EV charger installations.
- Solar PV and battery storage projects.
- Fault finding and remedial works.
- Larger commercial and renewable energy projects.
