Job summary

Morson Talent is seeking SC Cleared Electricians to join a major commercial and industrial electrical installation project at RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for ongoing work based on performance and project requirements.

Immediate starts are available for suitably qualified and SC Cleared candidates. Work hours are approximately 50 per week, 07:30–17:30, Monday to Friday, with weekend work paid at 1.5x and an initial contract of 3–6 months, with

Qualifications

• Current SC clearance mandatory.
• Valid ECS Gold Card or ECS Black Card.
• Experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out high-quality commercial and industrial electrical installations, including installation of steel trunking, cable trays and ladder systems.
• Installation of LV distribution equipment.
• Pulling, glanding and terminating singles and SWA cabling.
• Electrical testing and fault finding as required.
• Working safely in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced SC Cleared Electricians to join a major commercial and industrial electrical installation project at RAF St Mawgan.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality commercial and industrial electrical installations, including:
• Installation of steel trunking, cable trays and ladder systems
• Installation of LV distribution equipment
• Pulling, glanding and terminating singles and SWA cabling
• Electrical testing and fault finding where required
• Working safely in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations

Applicants must have

• Current SC (Security Check) Clearance - Mandatory
• Valid ECS Gold Card or ECS Black Card
• Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to quality and safe working practices

Pay & Working Hours

• Approximately 50 hours per week
• Standard working hours: 07:30 - 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
• Weekend work, when available, paid x 1.5
• Overtime is subject to project requirements and site opening hours
• Initial contract of 3-6 months
• Opportunity for further work on a project scheduled to continue until 2029
