Job summary

Morson Talent is seeking SC Cleared Electrical Installers/Labourers for a major project at RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall. You will assist electricians with containment, cabling, and LV distribution work, ensuring high safety and workmanship standards on site.

Offering approximately 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30–17:30, with weekend overtime paid at time and a half. Initial 3–6 month contract with potential to extend through 2029 for qualified SC cleared candidates.

Qualifications

• Current SC clearance is mandatory.
• Experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects.
• Strong health and safety awareness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with installation of steel trunking, cable trays and ladder systems.
• Supporting conduit and containment installations.
• Pulling and routing electrical cables.
• Assisting with LV distribution equipment installation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised site.

Job Description - SC Cleared Electrical Installer / Labourer

Contract: Initial 3-6 months with the potential for ongoing work until 2029

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and experienced SC Cleared Electrical Installers/Labourers to support commercial and industrial electrical installation works on a major project at RAF St Mawgan.

Working alongside electricians, you will assist with the installation of electrical containment and cabling systems while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation of steel trunking, cable trays and ladder systems
• Supporting conduit and containment installations
• Pulling and routing electrical cables
• Assisting with the installation of LV distribution equipment
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Supporting electricians to ensure works are completed efficiently

Candidate Requirements

Current SC (Security Check) Clearance - Mandatory

• Previous experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects
• Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team

Pay & Working Hours

• Approximately 50 hours per week
• Standard working hours: 07:30 - 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
• Weekend work, when available, paid at Time and a Half
• Overtime is subject to project requirements and site opening hours
• Initial contract of 3-6 months
• Opportunity for further work on a project scheduled to continue until 2029
• Immediate starts available for suitably qualified and SC Cleared candidates
