Electrician Multi Skilled

Working in our properties across the North Lakes

Permanent, full-time (37.5 hpw Monday to Friday, with on-call on a rota basis)

Salary £38,372 per annum plus van and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as an Electrician

• Complete all allocated jobs right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing excellent service for our customers.
• Testing and inspection, electrical installation, and repairs.
• Deliver high-quality and compliant work.
• Utilize multi-skilling to improve first-time fixes and reduce multiple visits to customers’ homes.
• Work across properties in the North Lakes. All jobs are scheduled, so you know exactly where you need to be.

You have

• City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
• Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations, electrical inspection and testing (2391), and AM2 or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing, and inspection within housing.
• Fault finding experience with excellent diagnostic skills to ensure effective repairs.
• Experience in other building trades (multi-skilled).
• A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgment.

Job details

• Working Monday to Friday, with participation in our out-of-hours rota, receiving additional on-call pay.
• Our office is based in Maryport, covering the North Lakes.
• You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, online learning, and collaboration.
• A Basic DBS check is required, which we will pay for.
• You need a full current driving license, as a company van will be provided for work and commuting.
