Job Description:

Sandford, Somerset, B25 5RA .

Temporary to Permanent Position: Mon to Fri 8.30 - 17.30.

The company is a leading electrical contractor specialising in prestigious commercial, industrial installations and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrician to join the company, supporting live wire testing works and industrial installations on site at a major food manufacturing facility in Sandford, Somerset.

Duties
As a suitably qualified and experienced electrical tester you will be working on site in Sandford, Somerset testing the various live electrical supplies across the production facility. Primary duties will be compiling condition reports whilst testing and energising live electrical feeds up to 1000v to the 20 plus mixed use industrial and commercial buildings on the 500 acres site. Other works will include the installation and modification of various low voltage wiring and cable containment systems.

Due to the nature of the work and the environment in which you'll be working, you need to be fully qualified to NVQ level 3 including AM2 or equivalent.

About You
Based ideally in Somerset, you will need to live within a commutable distance of B25 5RA.
Demonstrable experience of industrial or commercial electrical testing and installation, with a strong electrical core engineering background is essential for this role.
Minimum NVQ level 3 including AM2 or equivalent or JIB Graded electrician.
Testing and inspection 2391 or equivalent.
Full UK driving license.
