Stroud District Council has an in-house Electrical Service that provides annual servicing, maintenance, and reactive repairs to tenants. We are seeking an electrician responsible for routine repairs, maintenance, condition reports, replacements, and installation of electrical equipment, with strong experience in electrical activities in tenanted properties.
The role involves problem solving, fault finding, and diagnosis, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
You need to hold electrical qualifications such as City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition (2382), and inspection and testing (2391). The successful candidate will help shape the service delivery, with experience in the sector and up-to-date knowledge of regulations and legislation.
This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week. Flexibility and commitment to delivering outcomes are essential, as the role may require going beyond the standard description. A full UK driving license is required, along with a passion for excellent customer service.
