Job Role: Electrician

Location: HMP Bullingdon OX25

Salary: £44,818.21 inclusive of £3,000 in allowances per annum.

Additional 5% recognition for shift and weekend work (post-probation)

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B male prison.

Join a supportive team working Monday to Sunday to create a safe environment. HMP Bullingdon operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to ensure smooth functioning. Our Facilities Maintenance Team is committed to safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, families, and the community.

As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference.

Requirements include:

  • Two years' experience as an electrician

  • Certificate in BS7671
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
