Job summary

The Morson Group is recruiting electricians for a major LED lighting upgrade across the London Underground network, replacing existing lighting in stations, depots and related infrastructure to modern LED installations.

Successful candidates will travel to multiple LU sites, work safely, and meet industry standards. The role offers Monday–Friday Engineering Hours and ongoing long-term LU project work with a £230 per shift (LTD) rate.

Qualifications

• Valid Sentinel LU Sponsorship/Access.
• JIB Gold Card.
• Experience on the London Underground network.
• Experience with lighting installations and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and safety procedures.
• Ability to travel to various LU sites across the LU network.

Responsibilities

• Removal of existing lighting systems and installation of new LED lighting.
• Carrying out electrical testing and fault finding where required.
• Working in accordance with London Underground and site-specific safety procedures.
• Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and within project timescales.
• Maintaining accurate records of completed works and reporting any issues to site supervision.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Electricians to work on a major LED lighting upgrade programme across the London Underground network. The successful candidates will be responsible for replacing and upgrading existing lighting systems within stations, depots, and associated infrastructure to modern LED installations.

This role requires working across multiple locations throughout the LU network, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required industry standards.
