Job summary

Avenue Scotland is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our Dunfermline-based team supporting projects across the water utilities and wider engineering sectors. The role is hands-on, customer-facing and involves electrical and instrumentation installation on customer sites, with travel and nights away as required.

You should hold ECS/CSCS/SJIB electrician qualification with 18th Edition, have experience in electrical installation and testing, and be ready to travel

Qualifications

• ECS, CSCS or SJIB electrician qualification, including 18th Edition.
• Experience in electrical installation and inspection/testing.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems and installations.
• Instrumentation knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home during the week.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation and associated engineering works on customer sites.
• Undertake electrical inspection and testing.
• Support electrical and instrumentation installation projects.
• Assist with technical issues and project requirements.
• Work closely with customers, colleagues and other engineering teams.

Electrical Installation Engineer

Location: UK-wide (predominantly Scotland east and central) / Site Based
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Travel: Regular travel and overnight stays required
Employment Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join a growing Dunfermline based engineering team supporting projects across the water utilities and wider engineering sectors.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to a qualified electrical engineer who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You will be involved in electrical and instrumentation installation activities, supporting technical projects and assisting with the resolution of engineering issues on customer sites.

• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA and systems integration.
