Qualifications

  • Experience in domestic properties is advantageous.
  • Basic IT literacy required.

  • 39 Hours per week (Mon – Fri)
  • Based at Magna Sites across Dorset.
  • Permanent Role.

We are seeking experienced and qualified Electricians to join our Response and Cyclical teams. Our primary objective is to deliver quality and affordable housing, along with services that enhance the lives of our customers. We strive to cultivate strong business partnerships that ensure long-term mutual success, enabling us to provide exceptional homes and related services.

What you take care of:

  • As a member of our Response team, you will be required to carry out all aspects of electrical repairs, demonstrating excellent fault-finding skills and a readiness to conduct installation works if necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting the relevant testing and certification upon completion of any works carried out. Cyclical team members will perform periodical condition reports and remedial works.
  • You will be required to be on call once every 12 weeks for whichyou will receive a standby allowance.

What you need to be successful:

  • Candidates need to be fully qualified, with an NVQ level 3, preferably with 18th edition. City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent is desirable but not essential. The salary will reflect your qualifications and level of experience.
  • While a strong background in working within domestic properties would be advantageous, we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences, as we are committed to providing the necessary training and support to help you succeed in the position.
  • You will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, basic IT literacy and be dedicated to delivering a customer focused service.

This post is subject to a BasicLevel Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.You will need to hold a full driving license.
