Job description

Job Title: Electrician - Responsive Repairs

Location:

Milton Keynes

Salary:

£41,229 + Excellent Benefits (total package £44k - £47.5k), plus van and fuel card

Hours:

39 per week: Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 8:00am to 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance in domestic and commercial settings.
• Perform fixed wire testing and ensure all work complies with current regulations.
• Complete relevant certifications and documentation accurately.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working to performance targets.

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician with experience in domestic and commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to complete and certify work according to industry standards.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices and physical capability for manual tasks.
• Proven customer-focused work experience.
• City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Over 2 years' experience conducting EICRs.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.

Additional Information:

A basic DBS check is required, arranged and paid for by the employer.
