Electrician - Responsive Repairs

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £41,229 + Benefits (total package £44k - £47.5k), van, and fuel card

Hours: 39 per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-3:00pm

The Opportunity: We seek a skilled, customer-focused Electrician for a permanent, full-time role in a responsive repairs team.

The Role: Deliver high-quality electrical repairs, installations, and testing across residential properties, ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance in domestic and commercial settings.
• Conduct fixed wire testing and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Complete certifications and documentation accurately.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet performance targets.

What You'll Bring:

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Electrician with domestic and commercial experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to certify work according to industry standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices; capable of manual tasks.
• Customer-focused attitude.

Required Qualifications:

• City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Full UK driving license.
• Over 2 years' experience with EICRs.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.

Note: A basic DBS check is required, paid for by the employer.
