Job summary

Enerveo in Cornwall is seeking a Technology Installation & Maintenance Electrician to install, connect and maintain CCTV, ANPR and related tech across various sites. You’ll read technical drawings, perform fault-finding and carry out testing to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires NVQ Level 3, AM2, and ideally City & Guilds 2391 for higher pay; a full UK driving licence is essential for travel between sites. Training and progression are available in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 and AM2 or equivalent.
• City and Guilds 2391 Inspect and Test required for higher salary.
• Good practical knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, cabling and connections.
• Experience fault-finding and diagnosing technical issues.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, instructions and installation plans.
• Methodical approach with attention to detail; install right first time.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and solve on site.
• Full UK driving licence for travel across Cornwall.
• Role requires NPPB2/GSAT/CTC.

Responsibilities

• Installing and mounting CCTV, ANPR cameras and other technology equipment.
• Running, terminating and connecting cables and associated equipment.
• Connecting cameras and equipment to power and network infrastructure.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Fault-finding and diagnosing issues with equipment, cabling, power and network connections.
• Replacing, repairing or adjusting equipment where required.
• Carrying out testing and basic commissioning to ensure proper operation.
• Working from installation drawings, technical instructions and schedules.
• Using access equipment and working at height where required.
• Completing accurate records of work and reporting further issues.
• Working safely at various locations across Cornwall and representing Enerveo professionally.
