Job summary

Incommunities, based in Bradford, is seeking an experienced Electrician to install, service and maintain electrical installations across properties in the Bradford district. You will diagnose faults, perform safety checks, and ensure compliance with wiring regulations while communicating clearly with customers.

Ideal candidates possess NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, experience with EV charging or PV is a plus, and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum to know electrical systems, installation, maintenance, and fault rectification.
• Excellent customer communication and empathy when explaining work to customers.
• Confidence to work at height and in confined spaces; ability to move equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain electrical installations per Wiring Regulations.
• Diagnose faults using testing equipment and rectify.
• Perform routine safety checks and report non-compliant installations.
• Advise on action and coordinate with Repairs Service Centre if outside core trade.
• Communicate work performed with customers to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
• Follow HASAWA and related safety regulations; update system information.
• Originating and maintaining up-to-date work documentation.
• Travel to properties across the Bradford district; use work van.
