Job description

Our client is a SME and growing electrical services provider with over 30 years of experience serving Teesside and the surrounding areas. They work in all areas of electrical work within the domestic and commercial sectors, including renewable energy, such as Electric Vehicle chargers and Solar PV. They are looking for a skilled and experienced electrician to join their dynamic team with progression to become an Electrical Project Manager.

Electrician Position Overview

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential buildings.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
3. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
5. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local electrical codes and standards.
6. Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
7. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly used and stored.
9. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Electrician Position Requirements

1. NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
3. AM2 - Beneficial
4. 2391 Testing and Inspecting or equivalent
5. 18th edition
6. Full UK Driving Licence
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Electrician Position Remuneration

1. £35-40k per annum depending on experience
2. Company provided - not available for personal use
3. Holidays plus Bank holiday
4. Overtime and weekend work available
5. Full package to be discussed.
