Our Client

We have worked with some of the major electrical players in the world over the years, these are organizations the one that I have the most interest in from candidates historically. A multinational company who are present in every continent apart from Antarctica, but who are organically growing in the UK so as the feeling of a growing SME (expanded by 25% in the last 4 years) in the UK which gives it a unique feel.

They manufacture their own electrical equipment which is provided in to numerous sectors across the world and have to train new staff up around such equipment - complex stuff and things that will be completely new to your skill set.

The Role Itself

So what is the actual role itself? Well, this company has a team of service and commissioning engineers across the UK who service and commission their equipment, they operate in various sectors across the UK and due to growth they are looking to bring in another into their team to carry out such duties.

You will be trained up on all their equipment in what is a customer-facing role, with you usually working with directors of client companies and looking to build relationships. The role is also home-based and you plan and manage your own days - so some real autonomy!

About You

Traditionally, we usually look to place electrical professionals who are looking to develop their skillset on bigger, more complex equipment or for people who have hit a 'glass ceiling' where they are. You MUST hold a JIB Gold card for this role - this is essential. And we are looking for someone who, ideally, has industrial / commercial experience. You must have first-class customer service and have a real hunger and desire to develop your career.
