Job summary

Skilled Careers is recruiting an Electrician – Tester to subcontract testing across social housing properties in South West London, including Guildford, KT & TW postcodes. You will perform EICRs and electrical testing to current standards, with a price-work daily rate.

The role requires Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent, 2391-52, and 18th Edition, plus own van and tools and a Calibration Certificate.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services – Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) or equivalent.
• 2391-52 certificate.
• 18th Edition (Wiring Regulations).
• Own van and tools (Calibration Certificate required).
• Experience in the social housing sector preferred.
• Experience using a PDA.
• COSHH, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Asbestos & GDPR certificates may be provided via links if unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in social housing properties.
• Complete electrical inspection and testing to current regulations and industry standards.
• Identify, diagnose and report electrical defects and non-compliances.
• Ensure all testing and certification is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted.
