Job summary

JME Energy Ltd is a growing renewable energy and electrical installations company recruiting an experienced subcontract electrician. The role covers solar PV, battery storage, EV charger installations, and general electrical contracting across the South West.

Qualifications include NVQ Level 3, BS7671 18th Edition, and 2391 testing; driving licence and own tools are required. Flexible, ongoing work with a professional team and strong customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with UK-recognised qualifications.
• Experience in renewables and electrical installations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Compliance with safety and wiring regulations is essential.
• UK driving licence and own tools are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out solar PV installations and battery storage work.
• Install EV chargers and upgrade consumer units.
• Perform testing, inspection and fault finding on systems.
• Carry out domestic and commercial electrical work with high quality workmanship.
• Work on varied projects including renewables and general contracting.

JME Energy Ltd is looking for an experienced, reliable subcontract electrician to support our expanding workload across the South West.

We specialise in renewable energy installations alongside domestic and commercial electrical work. With a strong pipeline of projects, we're seeking skilled electricians who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for self-employed electricians looking for consistent work with a professional and supportive company.

The Role

You’ll be carrying out a variety of work including.

• Solar PV installation
• sBattery storage system
• sEV charger installation
• sConsumer unit upgrade
• sDomestic and commercial electrical installation
• sTesting, inspection and fault findin
• gElectrical maintenance and remedial work
• sWork will vary from renewable energy projects to general electrical contracting, providing plenty of variety

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent
• ECS Gold Car
• dFull UK Driving Licenc
