Job description

I’m working with a leading electrical contractor based in Devon to recruit a skilled and qualified Electrician to join their established team in Torquay. You’ll be carrying out a variety of works across both domestic and commercial properties, with a mix of installations, maintenance, and inspection & testing.

You’ll mainly be working on various projects in occupied properties and site based! Ideally, you’ll be happy to travel throughout Devon.

Duties will include:

• Full and partial rewires of domestic and commercial properties
• Consumer unit upgrades and replacements
• Installation of lighting, sockets, and power supplies
• Remedial works following EICRs
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Electrical inspection and testing to ensure compliance with regulations
• Supporting planned maintenance and emergency call-outs

You will need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing (desirable, but not essential)
• Experience in both domestic and commercial environments
• Own tools and a clean driving licence
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
