Our client is a specialist in new build electrical installations and solar PV projects. Established 4-5 years ago, they have quickly grown and recently secured long-term contracts that will fuel the next phase of expansion. With a close-knit team of six, soon to be seven, they pride themselves on delivering quality domestic solar projects with occasional commercial works.

The role is for an Electrician who will be a key part of the solar installation team, working across Exeter and the wider South West (Bristol to Plymouth). You'll be hands-on with electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and working closely with both the electrical and roofing teams. Occasional stay-aways may be required, but these are rare.

The right person will hold 18th Edition and ideally have Solar PV experience, though training is available for those with the right attitude and foundation skills. The company values ambition, a team-first mindset, and a willingness to grow - with opportunities to progress into team leader or supervisor positions.

The Person:

• Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and JIB Apprenticeship background
• Stable track record with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Ideally holds Solar PV BPEC and/or 2391 Test & Inspection (training offered if not)
• Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ambitious individual looking to progress into Team Leader or Supervisor roles

The Role:

• Electrical installations of domestic (and some commercial) solar PV systems
• Testing, inspecting, commissioning, and maintaining solar installations
• Working across Exeter and the wider South West (Bristol to Plymouth)
• Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)
