Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Swindon is seeking an Electrician to carry out electrical installation work on heating, boilers, air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial sites nationwide.

You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance and repairs, and ensure work is completed safely to the highest standards; a NVQ Level 3, 18th edition and 2391 are required, and national travel with nights away is expected.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• 2391 qualification.
• Previous experience wiring heating systems/boilers/air conditioning systems.
• Testing and inspection qualifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to travel nationally with regular nights away from home.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position: Electrician

Location: Swindon (National travel expected)

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

Electrician required for our client, an established and rapidly growing HVAC Service Provider based in the South West. The successful Electrician will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installation works associated with heating systems, boilers, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment across commercial properties throughout the UK.

The role will also involve electrical fault finding, maintenance and repair, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Electrician must hold their NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation, as well as their 18th edition wiring regulations & 2391.

Electrician Position - Salary & Benefits

Salary £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience

• 40hr working week
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime readily available
• 1 in 5 out of hours on call rota - weekends only (£25 per day for being on call + overtime rates if called out)
