Job summary

WPS are seeking a qualified Electrician to join the WPS Responsive Maintenance team, delivering repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in the Swadlincote area. The role focuses on safe, efficient, right-first-time electrical work and includes participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota to support emergency repairs as required.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Carry out testing, inspection and fault-finding works.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and technical standards.
• Communicate professionally with residents, schedulers and supervisors.
• Complete electronic job records, worksheets and reports via PDA.
• Work safely at all times, following health & safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Support other trades where required to complete multi-trade repairs.
