Job summary

Algeco UK Limited is seeking an experienced electrical installer to complete wiring installations in modular units. You will ensure safety and compliance with the 18th edition wiring regulations while preparing units for rental and performing certification.

The role requires an electrical apprenticeship, JIB/ECS Gold card, and 2391 testing qualifications. You will join a proactive team, work a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, and benefit from sociable hours and overtime pay.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• JIB / ECS Approved (Gold card).
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification or certification.
• AM2 qualification.
• To become established within the branch team and adhere to Algeco policies.

Responsibilities

• Installation/alteration/modification in new and existing units.
• Assist in preparation of units before going out for rental.
• Inspection, Testing and certification in compliance with BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40-hour week.

PURPOSE

To complete electrical installations and ensure they are safe and fit for purpose in compliance with 18th edition of the wiring regulations.

• Inspection, Testing and certification in compliance with BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations

Work Experience

• To become established within the branch team and be aware of Algeco policies and standard operating procedures relevant to task, ensuring all required paperwork is completed i.e. testing certification
