Qualifications

• City and Guilds/NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 qualification in Electrical is mandatory.
• Good computer skills required.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is needed.

Responsibilities

• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, alternating shifts from 7am to 4pm and 9am to 6pm
• Salary: £50,000 per annum + Sodexo benefits

As an Electrician in Southampton (SO14 7EJ), you will maintain and develop our impressive corporate facilities, contributing to operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems and associated plant equipment, ensuring safety standards and statutory compliance.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical and building systems such as HVAC, fire alarms, and lifts.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, Sodexo procedures, and legislation, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality service.
• Work in line with the Permit to Work System.
• Utilize IT systems (Handheld devices, CAFM system).
• Undertake weekend/out of hours work for intrusive maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• City and Guilds/NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 qualification in Electrical.
• Good computer skills (MS Office, PDAs).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Experience with PPM, reactive, and installation work.
• Experience operating BMS.
