Job summary

Yorkshire Housing Limited is seeking qualified Electricians to perform electrical repairs, testing, rewires and improvement works across our housing stock in Yorkshire. You will work in customers’ homes, including occupied and empty properties, to keep them safe, warm and well maintained.

Ideal candidates hold City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services, 18th Edition, AM2, 2391 or equivalent, and a full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services.
• City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition).
• AM2 Certification.
• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
• Testing of Electrical Installations Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Electrical repairs and fault finding
• EICRs and remedial works
• Rewires (full and partial)
• Inspection, testing and certification
• Planned upgrades, including lighting and heating improvements
• Working in both occupied and empty homes

Education

City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
