Job summary

Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) invites a qualified Electrician to join our team at Bulford. You will perform electrical reactive work, conduct emergency lighting testing and ongoing maintenance within the Garrison, and work 37.5 hours per week.

Role requires IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition, level 3 qualification, and MoD security clearance eligibility. A company vehicle, tools and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition and level 3 electrician.
• Experience in industrial, commercial and domestic settings.
• MoD security clearance eligibility or clearance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical reactive work to required standard and documentation.
• Perform PPM emergency light testing and repairs within the Garrison.
• Attend and resolve reactive tasking as directed by line management.
• Record maintenance works in the Company Management System and documents.
• Adhere to ADSL QHSE policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.

Your Role:

• Undertake electrical reactive work to the required standard and in line with any documentation provided.

• Undertake PPM emergency light testing and repairs as well as reactive works as part of a highly skilled maintenance support function within the Garrison.

• Attend and resolve any reactive tasking as directed line management.

• Ensuring the recording of all maintenance works when completed are posted through the appropriate, equipment, systems and documentation as required by the Company Management System

• Ensure that all areas of areas of personal responsibility adopt and utilise ADSL QHSE policies and procedures, including Health and Safety.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition, with proven experience of working as a level 3 qualified electrician.

• Experience: Qualified Electrician with experience in industrial, commercial and domestic setting. Skilled in safe systems of work, maintenance tasks, emergency lighting testing and PDA device use.

• Security: Must have or be eligible to obtain MoD security clearance.

• Skills: Competent electrician with knowledge of RAMs. Works independently from drawings, manages materials and completes jobs efficiently. Proactive, professional, and a strong team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
