Job summary

MoveATech is recruiting an Electrician for a permanent role in Redditch. The base salary ranges from £30,866 to £36,135, with an uplift bringing total range to roughly £35,515 to £41,555 depending on experience.

You will perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding, and safe electrical works to BS7671 standards. Weekend rota with a 15% allowance may apply and generous pension and holiday are offered.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent.
• BS7671 18th Edition, currently; 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition considered.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance across the site.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
• Carrying out like-for-like replacements and electrical minor works with inspections and tests per BS7671.
• Ensure all systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effectively for staff and residents.

Education

Electrician Redditch

We are recruiting for an Electrician on a Permanent basis. The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience with the uplift is £35,515-£41,55..

As Electrician you will be involved in;

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including administrative duties aligned to the tasks.
• Actively fault finding / problem solving on electrical systems across the prison.
• Carry out like for like replacements and other electrical minor works with the relevant electrical inspections and tests carried out and results recorded in accordance with BS7671.
• Ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effective try creating a secure and well-maintained environment for staff and residents.

What you will bring:

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent.
• BS7671 18th Edition, however, we will consider 17th Edition with upskilling to 18th Edition.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Working Hours

• There may be a need to work some weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
