Job summary

NRL is seeking experienced Electricians to join a high-profile project at Prestwick Airport for approximately eight weeks. The role involves installing cable containment, cabling to specification, glanding and terminating cables, and completing electrical installations with strict safety compliance.

The project offers 38 hours per week, start in mid-September 2026, and competitive hourly rates with overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid ECS/JIB Card (front and back copies).
• Up-to-date electrical certifications.
• Proven experience in similar electrical installation duties.
• Ability to work to deadlines and safety standards.

Electrician

We’re looking for experienced Electricians to join an important project atPrestwick Airport. This is an 8‑week opportunity ideal for qualified local professionals who can start quickly. Offering competitive hourly rates plus overtime, it’s a great chance to work on a well‑respected site.

Salary:

Approved Electricians:

• Basic: £21.19 + £2.98 holiday pay = £24.17 per hour
• Overtime 1.5: £31.79 + £3.84 holiday pay = £35.63
• Overtime 2: £42.38 + £5.12 holiday pay = £47.50

Graded Electricians:

• Basic: £19.54 + £2.74 holiday pay = £22.28 per hour
• Overtime 1.5: £29.31 + £3.54 holiday pay = £32.85
• Overtime 2: £39.08 + £4.72 holiday pay = £43.80

Location and Working Pattern:

• Site: Prestwick Airport
• Duration: Approximately 8 weeks
• Weekly hours: 38 hours
• Expected start: Week commencing 14th September 2026
