Job summary

Sunseeker International in Poole seeks skilled Electricians to join its world-class manufacturing team. You will install and test sophisticated electrical systems across luxury yachts, interpret drawings, and manufacture wiring looms to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of electrical experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-precision production environment. Marine experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' electrical experience, ideally in marine/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Safety-first mindset and disciplined approach to electrical work.
• IEE 18th Edition qualification (or equivalent) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

At Sunseeker International, we are looking for skilled and motivated Electricians to join our world-class manufacturing team, helping to create some of the world's most iconic luxury performance motor yachts.

We are seeking individuals with a strong electrical background who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team. Whether you have previous marine experience or transferable electrical skills from another industry, you'll have a passion for precision, safety, and continuous improvement.

A Day in the Life

As an Electrician at Sunseeker, no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for installing and testing sophisticated electrical systems throughout our luxury yachts, ensuring every component is fitted to the highest standards.

Working alongside colleagues across production and engineering teams, you'll interpret technical drawings, install wiring and electrical equipment, manufacture wiring looms, and help ensure each vessel progresses through the build process on schedule. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional quality to customers around the world.

Example Responsibilities Include

• Installing electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures and components associated with yacht manufacture.


• Planning and installing trunking and conduit runs accurately and efficiently.


• Wiring AC and DC appliances in accordance with build specifications.


• Manufacturing and installing wiring looms using current techniques and standards.


• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, electrical diagrams and design specifications.


• Terminating and testing electrical systems.


• Working to exact tolerances whilst maintaining exceptional quality standards.


• Collaborating with team members to achieve production and boat delivery schedules.


• Supporting continuous improvement by identifying and implementing better ways of working.


• Adhering to safe working practices and company procedures at all times.

To Be Considered for this Role You Should Have

• A minimum of three years' electrical experience, ideally gained within a marine, automotive, manufacturing or similar environment.


• Completed an electrical apprenticeship or possess equivalent practical experience.


• The ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams and specifications.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.


• A proactive and methodical approach to problem- solving.


• The ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst meeting production deadlines.


• A safety-first mindset and a disciplined approach to electrical work.


• An IEE 18th Edition qualification (or equivalent electrical qualification), which would be advantageous.
